I think thid restaurant always having some health issues......
Yes, but no need.
No delivery service.
Delicious food. I go frequently to eat lunch this is always full. But they always can squeeze a small party. You must try the rice dishes they are to kill for. Enjoy.
In and out.Had to grab a quick lunch at 12pm as I had an appointment at 12:30 about 8 mins away so headed to Keung's Delight as I had heard good things about it.Honestly, it was exactly as I had expected - gimme my food quick and get me the bill fast. Wanted to get the baked pork chop with spaghetti but I knew it would take a while so instead, opted for the curry beef brisket as it was a staple in Chinese diners and I needed something fast. I kid you not... the food literally came out in less than 5 mins. If you look closely, it's a bed of white rice and on one side, you have the beef brisket, and on the other, you have the mixed veggies - both in the same curry sauce. Taste was on point and both the brisket and veggies were cooked well. Ate a third of it, asked for a box and bill and within 15 mins and around $12 later, I was out the door. Fast and efficient 👌
Have tofu dessert will be a delight, give warm feel all over your tummy, ; bSuper nice
Nice, clean spot with good comfort food. The service is always good and I really love the.
LONG WAITING TIME!!! This place is always packed. However, it is worth the wait. The crab rice and the fried milk are excellent!
I've always enjoyed coming here to try the mouth watering honey garlic spare ribs. They recently changed their decor especially their lighting fixtures and it feels a little bit outer space like with the industrial lights. Not too sure if they've changed their kitchen staff recently but I found a lot of their food to be really salty especially the green bean with olive and anchovies. We ordered the typical good as well the beef rice noodle, Shanghai noodle, pork and egg congee, green bean, fried tofu, fried squid and the spare ribs. One thing I realized is also that the portion size is a lot smaller than before. Combined with the salty dishes I'm not too sure if it's worth it to come back for the ribs alone.
My friend and I got to the restaurant around 8pm on Wednesday. The restaurant was full. There was two pairs before us. There was an empty table for two and the restaurant staff did want customers to use that table. Not sure why. About 10 minutes, the two pairs were sit except us. Finally the cashier told us to sit at that empty table. Before I would like to try out their famous Chicken congree. Then we changed our mind to try out the Lotus Leave Fried Rice with Dungeon Crab. The rice has a strong garlic taste which was good but I didn't taste the Lotus Leave. The crab tasted fresh and the price was reasonable.
Excellent congee and beef brisket noodles soup.
Place is very quick with service. Food is good. Overall very happy with my visit each and every time. It gets busy sometimes but it’s a good place to grab late night dinner
Delicious HK style food, pricing is fairly cheap also, especially during happy hour. It's located in a nice plaza, near T&T Supermarket. Great place to try if you want some HK style food.
Keungs Delight, I have fond memories of their peppery soups and lotus leaf wrapped fried rice. Overall its typical HK style diner food, open late and well priced.
Great Chinese food!!! Service is good. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time. Food is consistent and good...The cost is fair $$.
Worst place to eat ever. Staff were unprofessional and did not even greet you. During the whole meal the staff were busy talking to each other rather than helping customers. Threw the receipt down and made a mistake on my receipt. Never coming back to this establishment after the unprofessionalism I experienced today. If I could give the store a negative star I would’ve. Never coming back again.
This is an average quality restaurant with moderate price. Service also average. Portions are slightly smaller than average. If you factor the portion size into price, it is a moderate pricey restaurant. The place is relatively clean and spacious, and the serving speed is fast. It is inside a very busy Asian plaza. This place is suitable when you feel you don't want to cook and just want to have a quick easy meal. Nothing fancy.
I drove all the way out from Milton to eat here because of the pictures I saw on Instagram and boy did it ever deliver. The congee was delicious, I also ate fried rice and pork spare ribs. All were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, when I got my bill i literally could not believe how cheap it was. Would definitely recommend.
This dish is absolutely delicious! It’s the crab with rice steamed in a wooden basket. Haven’t tried a lot of the other things on the menu but this was amazing. The soups are delicious and also the mango smoothie was really good
Decent food experience. Quite crowded after 3 pm. Their portions are quite small now if you takeout. The rice also wasn't fried enough as I saw some white pieces inside.
A very popular sushi AYCE restaurant. Be aware like most AYCE locations that the second or later orders come more slowly so get what you want on the first order.
The decor is quite modern and clean. Some staffs are nice and we ordered a lot food today which included the fried chili turnip patties, pepper mustard green soup hotpot, fried fish balls and fried wonton with sweet and sour shrimp sauce. The fried fish balls were not cooked fully at first, so we asked the dish to be fried again. The pepper mustard green soup was quite good. The fried chili turnip patties was kind of a let down because it was really soft and mushy, not crispy on outside at all. The fried wonton was really good with tasty sweet and sour shrimp (seafood) sauce. I like the icecream red bean drink too. Not a bad place to go if you are looking for food with a lower price tag
Very spacious and clean. Combination of minced beef, fried dough and rice wrap is quite good. Porridge with pork liver and kidney also good.
food is not so good too much oil,but service is good ,otherwise 2 stars only.
It has been years since my last review of Keung's Delight, so it's time for an update.Around a month ago, I made a visit with my family to sample some of our favourite classics from when I was younger. The restaurant has changed a bit over the years in decor and menu items in order to cater to changing tastes in the Markham community. We ordered a variety of dishes and we were quite satisfied with them. The Half Boiled Free Range Chicken was a bit small in portion, however the taste was in every piece. The Beef with Chinese Broccoli was stupendous and had an amazing wok hei flavour. The Cantonese Chow Mein was delicious as the crispy noodles paired nicely with the meat and seafood. Lastly, the Portuguese Baked Chicken on Rice, a dish I grew up eating at Keung's Delight, tasted like when I first enjoyed it as a kid.Overall, the food is great for the prices you are paying and I cannot wait for my next visit back!
Liked service.Fast food arrival. All tasted fresh and good
Restaurant is always busy but the service is fast and food is tasty. The fried milk cubes are yummy, and their hot milk tea aroma is great! Probably not ideal for larger party dining but typical spot to grab a bite for about five people or less. Tried the pork bone soup last time which was huge and flavourful. Apparently good for general health too. Would recommend for that "fast-food" Chinese restaurant type of cuisine.
How is the food?I really enjoy the food from this restaurant. Every single time I come here, I will always order the big pot of pork bone soup that they offer, that is the bomb. Another dish I enjoy is the second picture, I guess not too healthy, but it tastes so good, and once a while you gotta live your life. in terms of fried rice, I recommend my 3rd picture. How is the service?the service here is fine, no complaints. Payments Accepted?Cash and Debit onlyWould I recommend?Yes! I’ve been here multiple times, and I know I’ll continue to come back
A very well prices restaurant and their foods are better than most Chinese restaurants in the areas
Good price, large portions, and food was tasty at 11pm at night. Servers don't speak English that well, but they understand. Would def come back again!!
Lane night dinner after badminton. It was good.
Pretty good food. Love the pepper soup
Some items like the rice roll with sesame & oyster sauce is good. The deep fried tofu is always and still is amazing. But other than those few dishes, the quality of the food really had gone down. Our it hasn't been keeping up with other competitors. Sadly, I will not be voluntarily coming back.
Update May 2018. Long weekend trip to Toronto. Headed straight to Keung's. Probably the best tasting type of congee. Century & salted egg w/ lean pork.More salted & century egg goodness, this time in a sauce over wilted snow pea shoots. Next photo is what I helped myself to, a honking chunk of vegetables.Deep fried tofu. Crunchy on the outside, and silky soft on the inside. Dipped in housing for a hint of sweetness.Honey garlic pork ribs. It was ok but since I'm going for comfort food level of greatness, I'd skip it.One last thing, definitely order the “Malaysian” Chicken Wings. I ate most of them. ;D---Yum. Must order the century & salted egg congee and the deep fried tofu. P.s. Debit or cash only.Follow my Instagram @andrewngui to discover more food recommendations!
Very yummy Chinese restaurant, there’s a line-up but worth the wait. I always order the tofu wit sweet ginger syrup for dessert.
So-so after the reopening. Time to work, CHEF.
The usual fare of Cantonese style Chinese food. It's not bad, certain items are better than others. Pricewise, it's ok. Personally, it's good for larger groups. The signature dishes below were pretty good. Location has ample parking.
Get the golden shrimp here. It is amazing.
For Chinese food that is a step above fast food like Congee Queen/Wong...this is one of my favorites. You don't go to Chinese restaurants for service or ambiance but for good quality food and this place dekivers. Highly recommend their braised pan fried tofu, pepper pork bone soup, steamed lotus leaf fried rice, baked chicken casserole dishes and fried noodles. If you like clams, also try the hot pot clam soup with vermicelli. It is busy (and for good reason too) but this is is worth it.
The portions are larger than most other Chinese restaurants serve. Service wasn't too bad. Been coming to this place for many years.
Good food, fast service, always crowded. A must go for my parents every time we visit Toronto.
The Portuguese chicken rice was lacking in sauce. The sauce also didn't have much flavour. The BBQ pork Chang fen is pretty good as is the roadside Chang fen. Busy and chaotic. Cash and debit only.
At the west entrance of Warden Centre, this is our go to place when the family's in Markham. Pricing is very reasonable, service is quick and Cantonese food is great. High Tea Special is between 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Great deals if you have an early dinner.
Good food and servicesTried 脆皮豆苗腸粉,not crispy as describe, but it is still very good.
One of my favorite spots for Hot & Sour soup. Menu Questions along with Ordering is sometimes difficult due to language barrier.
Amazing food every single visit
Food was a bit salty but the presentation and flavors were still great. Helpful staff
This place is often busy during lunch and dinner time, especially on the weekends. Service is average, and food is, hit or miss where I've had some good items and some that are meh. So if you find something that suits your taste, it's usually a safe bet. Their staple is the mustard greens pork bone soup and chicken casserole rice. Prices for the portion sizes usually offer good value, but some items are not good value (clams). Plenty of free parking outside, but with the number of eateries and the supermarket in the same plaza, it's usually packed and difficult to find parking.
Would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for cozy, cheap and tasty Chinese food. Ordered the beef brisket , chicken congee and the turnip cake patties. All in all would come back here for value and comfort.
Good food. Fast service! If you don't know what to eat come here, so much variety!
Good Chinese food for a reasonable price! The place is bright and there's a lot of space between tables which is good! The place is a bit noisy like in a market!
True rating of 3.5. A good default place to get food especially during high tea. The food is good but nothing particularly special about it either. A good menu with a wide variety of food choice. The pricing seems to have gone up during the years. It is only during high tea time that you get a drink with your meal. This place is suitable for large groups. Portion sizes are generous. Service is quick and adequate.
Cheap Chinese food. Good variety and says Service. The place is very quaint and clean. The menu is very straightforward. Have to watch out for busy times like the weekend. There may be very long lineups.
